Lightning Conductor

Lightning Conductor shields buildings against lightning by directing the electricity to the ground rather than through the structure. This is a long copper earth pole that is hammered into the ground somewhere near the side of the building and is attached to a thick copper wire and strip at the highest point of the structure. A lightning Conductor is used to provide the lightning with a low resistance passage through the earth so that it can flow through without damaging any physical structures.
